AFC Leopards on the Brink of Being Relegated to the National Super League

AFC Leopards could miss a spot in the forthcoming FKF Premier League season if they do not settle the dues owed to their former coach Patrick Aussems.

The Belgian reported the club to FIFA due to breach of contract with the world football governing body ruling the case his favour.

Consequently, the club was ordered to pay over Kshs 20 million in owed dues and as compensation for breach of contract.

FIFA is yet to issue Leopards a license to participate in the 2023/24 season and the club are at risk of being Relegated if they do not meet FIFA’s directives.

AFC have until today midnight to pay their former coach or strike a payment plan failure to which they will be automatically relegated to the NSL.

The license is automatically generated through the FIFA Licensing Online Platform once all the required documents are submitted.

The platform will close today midnight.
