Ainabkoi member of parliament aspirant Terry Chebet Maina has condemned the recent unrests in schools.

Speaking after she visited Kipkabus boys wherw students torched their dormitory recently, Maina said the act was uncalled for and ill intended.

“I want to condemn the damage caused by the arson in schools this is unwarranted and uncalled for,” said the Ainabkoi parliamentary seat aspirant.

She was Inspecting Kipkabus High school which brought down by fire over student unrest.

“As we count our loses, it is important for everyone to be responsible and learn self control.It takes alot of resources to build schools, a minute to destroy.Let’s encourage and talk to our students.
,” she added.

Terry has declared her interest for the Ainabkoi constituency seat and she is among the front runners to replace the incumbent William Chepkut. She says she will ensure that the CDF funds are used effectively and prudently for welfare of Ainabkoi people.

Terry was born and raised at Dry’s Farm, Ainabkoi, and is married to Eng. Wilson Maina of Olare, Burnt Forest, Ainabkoi. She is a mother of 3 adult children and a leader with many years of experience. She retired early from a Senior Management role in the banking sector to engage in volunteerism for social impact.


She has been a member of the Board of Directors at NSSF, AFFA, KICC, University of Eldoret, ACT!, and is currently the National Chairman for the Kenya Girl Guides Association. She seeks to become a Member of the National Assembly for Ainabkoi so that she can give back her experience, competence, and commitment for the good of society. She believes in transformative servant leadership to create sustainable social impact and economic empowerment among our people.
