Ainabkoi MP Aspirant Terry Chebet Maina Urges Residents TO Elect Her in the UDA Party Primaries
Ainabkoi Member of parliament aspirant Terry Chebet Maina has called on resident to vote for him during the UDA party primaries scheduled for Thursday next week.
She says once elected she will ensure that residents are empowered financially once elected as MP.
Maina says this will ensure that they will produce income that will feed their family.
“My aim as your MP is to ensure that everyone is empowered financially through joining groups that will benefit from the funds from both the county and National government that will help them earn a living through starting a small business,” said Maina while speaking.
Concerning roads, she said that she will ensure that all roads which are in a dilapidated condition are passable.
“Most roads in Ainabkoi are impassable especially during rainy season yet we have funds from KERRA, under my leadership I will enusre that money is set for the same and I will be giving reports on how the money has been spent,” she added.
She said she will encourage farmer to practice value addition for them to good prices after selling their produce.
She says her motivation for running for the position of Member of Parliament is to give back to society by providing leadership.
“I want to give back the leadership skills and the competence I have acquired over the years to my Community at the grassroots level. I see a lot of challenges that our people face and I believe that the National Assembly is the right platform to bring in legislation and provide leadership that will benefit the electorate,” Terry said.
Terry was born and raised at Dry’s Farm, Ainabkoi, and is married to Eng. Wilson Maina of Olare, Burnt Forest, Ainabkoi. She is a mother of 3 adult children and a leader with many years of experience. She retired early from a Senior Management role in the banking sector to engage in volunteerism for social impact.
She has been a member of the Board of Directors at NSSF, AFFA, KICC, University of Eldoret, ACT!, and is currently the National Chairman for the Kenya Girl Guides Association. She seeks to become a Member of the National Assembly for Ainabkoi so that she can give back her experience, competence, and commitment for the good of society.
