All Households to be Connected With Electricity -Kesses MP
Kesses Member of Parliament CPA Julius Ruto has promised to ensure that there is 100 percent electricity connectivity.
Speaking after paying a courtesy call to Cabinet Secretary for Energy Davis Chirchir, Permanent Secretary, State Department of Energy, Alex Wachira, Permanent Secretary, State Department of Petroleum Mohamed Liban ,Ruto said his aim is to ensure that each household is connected to electricity for the next five years.
“I want to assure Kesses residents that my administration will ensure that all households get electricity connectivity. The provision of electricity to ninety-eight percent of households in the Kesses constituency if not a hundred percent was what I promised during my campaign. I’m still stalked to it,” said the Kesses legislator.
Ruto was elected on a UDA party ticket.
“We deliberated on issues to do with electricity connectivity in Kesses constituency, The outcome of the meeting was positive, It would be felt on the ground soon. I will not get tired knocking at the doors of the relevant government offices to bring the much-needed development to you, my people,” he added.
He said when there is electricity there is economic empowerment where people can start a business that will help them earn a living and will also reduce cases of insecurity in the village.
