According to John Kirwa one of the bodaboda operator the vehicle hit their colleague in Eldoret town thereafter tried to escape.
“As bodaboda operators we are not happy with what the owner of this private vehicle has done, how can be hit our collegue and thereafter he runs away, that is what made us to follow him and burn his vehicle,” John Kirwa said when speaking to the press.
The operators trailed the vehicle to the estate where they torched it.
Transport at Munyaka was paralysed for over two hours while the angry bodabida operators were torching down the vehicle.
It forced police to intervene for sanity to prevail.

The owner of the vehicle escaped unhurt.
