Bungoma County Allocates Ksh 115 Million For Trade Loans
Bungoma county Government has allocated 115 Million for Trade loans in the 2023-2024 financial year, Governor Kenneth Lusaka has announced.
Speaking at Amutala Stadium in Kimilili, Lusaka said the County Assembly was in the last phase of passing county trade loan development fund regulations before money is released.
The disbursement of trade loans, one of Governor Lusaka’s campaign pledges was started during his first term but was halted when he left office in 2017.
The Governor also used the opportunity to ask individuals who have encroached on government land to surrender ahead of the earmarked Infrastructural upgrade of Kimilili town.
Deputy Governor Janepher Mbatiany, CECMs, Chief Officers, Mcas and other County and National Government officials were present.
