Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati in Saturday attended the requiem mass of Peter Oteng’ alias Storm.
The deceased was a popular dancehall musician who also served as a communication officer for Kanduyi MP, Hon. Wafula Wamunyinyi,at KMTC grounds, Bungoma.
Storm was brutally murdered by unknown assailants along Sunrise Estate Road.
Wangamati eulogized Storm as an ambitious hardworking young man, whose life was cut short at a prime age.
“I am calling upon the police to investigate if the death was politically instigated or he just died a natural death,” he said.
Storm will be laid to rest in Uganda at his ancestral home, on Monday, August 16, 2021.
