Busia Governor Lauds NCBA For Opening Branch in the County

Busia County Governor, Dr.Paul Nyongesa Otuoma has lauded NCBA Bank for opening a branch in Busia.

He says this noting will go a long way in helping the small medium enterprises to grow especially in the sector of agriculture .

“I want to thank NCBA Group Finance Director, David Abwoga for identifying Busia as a business opportunity for trade and opening the 85th branch in Busia to allow people get funds and invest, This will also help businessmen and woman to get loaNS at an affordable rate.” Busia govermor said.

He assured Busia Branch Manager, Christopher Lusweti and Regional Manager Allan Nyang’aya and Jane Waithaka respective, that they will not regret over the decision of opening a branch in Busia which is gateway to East Africa.

Group Director Retail, Tirus Mwithiga revealed that for the eight months the bank has been in Busia it has managed to open 400 accounts, employed 11 staff, disbursed loans upto 50 million and 90 million to be disbursed soon.
