Buzeki Statement on Finland Students Fiasco
Governor KOTI MOJA, refusing to take accountability for the FINLAND students fiasco, which was initiated by the previous governor, MANDAGO is a confirmation that UG county has an INCOMPETENT governer. The parents and students paid tuition fees through the county program, only to discover that the funds were embezzled, depriving the students of the opportunity to study in FINLAND and CANADA.
KOTI MOJA do not tell us “MANDAGO should come and explain” you are the GOVERNOR, tell us who STOLE from parents!! You have all the records with you ! ! STOP this hide and seek games ! were you helped with some of this CASH to Camapign ??
This situation has left STUDENTS languishing and depressed at home, while those who managed to travel to FINLAND are facing difficulties as their fees have not been paid to the universities as scheduled. Tragically, this dire situation has already led to the loss of one student’s life through suicide, while others are on the brink of nervous breakdowns.
It is imperative that both KOTI MOJA and MANDAGO face the full force of the law for their involvement in this scandalous act of embezzlement. Reports indicate that a staggering amount of 196 million was withdrawn during the election campaigns in April/May 2022, and we urge the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to trace these funds, which were allegedly sent to a forex bureau. This was done during MANDAGOs tenure.
To clear his name from any responsibility, it is essential for KOTI MOJA to invite an independent audit firm such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) to thoroughly investigate the matter. Running away from concerned parents and students, accompanied by the Deputy Governor, does not demonstrate the leadership expected of a public official but rather evokes the behavior of accomplices of CRIME running away from the LAW.
MANDAGO , as the master planner of this disastrous FINLAND project, cannot feign ignorance or employ his usual tactics of twisting words to evade accountability while parents and the entire UG community are DISTRAUGHT.
Furthermore, it has come to our attention that the individuals associated with this project, who were close to Mandago, have amassed wealth that they CANNOT account for. The DCI must visit the homes of these MANDAGO BROKERS , who stole from poor parents, and used the proceeds to build for themselves palatial homes and purchase expensive cars.
Justice must prevail in this matter. The affected parents and students deserve answers, and those responsible must face the consequences of their actions. It is our hope that the relevant authorities will take swift action to investigate and bring justice to the victims of this egregious act.
Parents and students must be REFUNDED all their monies and INTERESTS accrued.
Otherwise KOTI MOJA must be IMPEACHED and MANDAGO recalled back from the senate. We will collect SIGNATURES.
