Call to increase CDF Allocation
There’s an urgent need for the Government to increase equitable share of the allocation of the Revolutionary fund, the National Government Constituency Development Fund abbreviated as NG-CDF
This clarion call was released by the Hon MP for Kasarani Constituency The Hon MP Ronald Karauri.
The Hon Captain Karauri was kind enough to hand bursary cheques to children from disadvantaged/ vulnerable backgrounds.
In total the Hon MP gave a cheque of 15 Million and he supported the one man one vote policy.
The humble, kindhearted yet very intelligent Hon. MP noted,
“Today marks a major milestone in the aim of a 100% transition of pupils from primary to secondary education.
More than 1000 Form 1 students received a check of 10,000 KES each, with an additional 15,000 KES for those with disabilities. The NGCDF awarded 65 students four-year scholarships, while the Captain Ronald Karauri Foundation sponsored 32 complete four-year scholarships. Kasarani leads the country in 2024 bursary issuance.
I pledge to work continuously with all stakeholders to ensure that every child in our constituency receives a high-quality education for a brighter future. Let us embark on this noble journey of transformation and empowerment, guided by the principles of equity, inclusivity, and excellence.”
