CEC Joseph Lagat Call for Time Management and enhanced communication

The Uasin Gishu newly appointed CECM for Roads, Transport and Public Works Engineer Joseph Lagat has called for time management and enhanced communication.

This he says will enable staff to understand all that goes on in his department which is key in the implementation and delivery of efficient infrastructural projects in the county.

CECM Lagat made the remarks during an inaugural meeting with section heads held in his office on Friday.

“This is one of his strategies aimed at ensuring success in the implementation of Governor Jonathan Bii’s pre-election pledges under the NGUZO KUMI agenda,” he said.

He takes over from engineer Gideon Birir who was working in the governor JacksonMandago administration.
Among the strategies that were deliberated on include; improving human resources through training, proper documentation and involvement of professionals in the distribution of projects to avoid duplication of the same across the county and ensure prudent utilization of public funds.
