Today at a tree planting event in Kiplombe, Eldoret town, the Chairman of the council of Imam Sheikh Abubakar Bini emphasized the importance of addressing the demands of the youth, urging the government to take action.

In his speech, Sheikh Abubakar Bini commended the youth for their peaceful protests, noting their role in influencing government decisions. He specifically pointed out that recent demonstrations had contributed to government employees shelving their demands for a salary increase.

“There is no one in this world who has ever opposed a salary increase,” Sheikh Abubakar remarked, underscoring the universal nature of such demands.

Moreover, the chairman directed a plea to President William Ruto, urging him to dismiss ministers involved in corruption to foster peace and unity
