closure of Oserian High School Uncalled For
The closure of Oserian High School(a private secondary school in Olkaria Ward) is unfortunate and untimely.
I sincerely thank the Oserian management for the many years they have supported the school. The company’s management has expressed how untenable it was to continue running the school.
Today we held a stakeholders engagement meeting at Oserian in Olkaria Ward to chat a way forward for the students who were at Oserian High school.
All the 103 students including 36 of them who will be joining form four this year will be facilitated by the ministry of education to get placement in our nearby public secondary schools or schools of their choice.
I was accompanied by Naivasha DCC Mr. Kisilu Mutua, Sub County director of education madam Nancy Mutai, Olkaria Ward MCA Hon. Peter palang’a, Oserian management and my office team.l(a private secondary school in Olkaria Ward) is unfortunate and untimely.
