Collaboration and Team Work Vital-PS Mwadime

Labour and Skills Development Principal Secretary, Shadrack Mwadime emphasized the importance of collaboration and teamwork during a familiarization meeting with his State Department staff at the Kenya School of Government Lower Kabete Nairobi.

The PS, who recently was transferred to head the State Department, held a meeting with all the officers under his leadership to foster a better working relationship and pave the way for progress.

He expressed his concern that, despite 50 years of independence, many people still endure poverty, emphasizing for everyone to fulfill their responsibilities, which he said will not only contribute to economic growth, but also address the issue of youth unemployment, which affects a significant portion of the population.

Mr. Mwadime underscored the significance of honesty and accountability in handling financial responsibilities, aiming for zero financial audit queries.

The meeting was attended by among others, Secretary DOSHS, Dr. Musa Nyandusi, Director Registrar of Trade Unions, Madam Beatrice Mathenge and Secretary Post Training and Skills Development, Dr. Wanjiru Kariuki.
