County Conducts a Workshop For Directors, Deputy Directors and Assistant

Uasin Gishu County Deputy Governor, Eng. John Barorot on Wednesday inaugurated a workshop at a Kisumu hotel for all directors, deputy directors, and assistant directors.

The workshop focused on the government structure, emphasizing the levels of government and devolved units.

During his speech, the Deputy Governor encouraged the attendees to work together as a cohesive team for the greater good of Uasin Gishu residents.

Mr. Edwin Bett, the County Secretary, provided an overview of the County Government’s intricate structure, and Ms. Francisca Boen, Public Service Board Chair, enlightened the directors on the board’s mandate and the expected conduct of public service officers.

Mr. Paul Lagat, the Vice Chair, acknowledged the existing gaps and emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to bridge the voids.

CPA Silah Rono, Ag. Secretary Public Service Board, took the team through the staff establishment, the functions, and the co-mandates.

Dr. Elseba Maseh, a Member County Public Service Board, and the Chief Officer for Public Service Management, Mr. Ambrose Tarus, were among those present at the workshop.
