CS Mutua Presents a Report in Parliament

The Hon CS for Tourism Alfred Mutua earlier Thursday, presented a comprehensive report to the National Assembly’s Departmental Committee on Tourism and Wildlife regarding the current status of Kenya’s beaches.
The discussion was prompted by concerns voiced by Likuyani MP Hon. Innocent Mugabe, highlighting the declining condition of our beaches attributed to inadequate institutional and environmental governance.
Addressing Hon. Kareke Mbiuki’s committee, he expressed his Ministry’s deep concern regarding the substandard management of our coastal areas. As a proactive step, he announced plans to host a stakeholder meeting to delve deeper into this issue.
