Despite being jobless for 7 years, 31 years Kikuyu man from Nairobi made Kes 10 million in 12 month

Getting employed in this country proves to be an uphill task for most young people.

A Nairobi man by the name Alex Kitavi has narrated how he managed to make more than Kes 10 Million in just 12 months after being jobless for almost 7 years.

According to him he used to work as an Insurance salesman but lost his job after they were retrenched. He later struggled to look for another job but all in vain hence he started hawking Mitumba clothes atleast to put food on the tables.

Then in 2020 during the Covid pandemic business really went down and was forced to look another source of income. The one day while browsing on Facebook he came across an advert for an online job called Zumo News and his life has never been the same again. We meet with him as he narrates to us about his success journey.
“My name is Alex Kitavi and am 31 years old. I used to work as an insurance salesman but lost my job after we were retrenched 7 years ago. My effort to look for another job became futile hence i started selling Mitumba Clothes to put food on the table. Then in 2020 with the onset of Covid 19 business became really bad and was forced to look for another source of income. I saved enough money and started a car-hire business and in a good month i make more than Kes 800,000 both from Zumo News and my business. I don’t know how my life would have been if it was not for this online job. I have been working on Zumo News for 2 years now and has never disappointed even a single time.
