
Deputy President William Samoei Ruto handed over a school bus to the Board of Management of St. Thomas Kapchorwa Secondary School.
Ruto says the aim of the government is to ensure thta students get quality education through provision of infrastructure and manpower.
“We have a duty to ensure that school children have access to safe and reliable transport system. We will continue to collaborate with partners to guarantee an efficient transit programme so as to enhance students’ attendance and performance,” said the deputy president William Ruto.

He called on parents to ensure that they take their children to school saying that stern actions will be taken against parents who deny their children their rights to education.
“I want to give stern warning against parents denyimg their children their right to education as enshrined in the constitution any person who will do contrary will face the full force of the law, ” he added.
Keiyo South MP Hon. Daniel Rono was also present, Karen, Nairobi County.
