Dr Ekrah Ndung’u Eulogises Liz Wanyoike
Very sad news for our TVET sector, we’d like to send our sincere condolences to her family & our colleague Allan Njenga Principal NIBS. We’ve lost a general,a role model and a mentor for all of us. Mrs Lizzie Wanyoike has left an indelible mark in our hearts & a great impact.
The kindest, loveliest, most selfless person you will ever meet. She was brave, softspoken, and always there for anyone who needed her. She was one of the pioneers of KENAPCO(Kenya National Association of Private Colleges) ..Lizzie was selfless, when our sector was challenged her and other institutions would give their own resources to shape the TVET sector. She did it without looking that other institutions will benefit.
She had an abundance mentality, she could also mentor other founders. The growth of NIBS Technical college through her leadership remains an inspiration & a benchmark to private TVETs.
Education sector has lost a pioneer & a great brain. So sad that the cruel hand of death just picked the most beautiful & promising flower from the garden. Just like snow grief melts away with time,we will come to terms with this loss as time goes by though this has left many Kenapco members speechless.
There is not enough paper in the world to even begin to write a tribute for her, but no one deserves it more than her…she’s been a great leader in the private TVETs sector.
