Dr. Ekrah Ndungu Receives Warm Welcome in Eldoret Ahead of Africa Research Institute Graduation
Dr. Ekrah Ndungu, the National Chairperson of the Kenya National Association of Private Colleges (KENAPCO), was warmly welcomed at Eldoret International Airport by Sister Rahab, the Regional Chairperson of the Rift Valley Region. Dr. Ndungu is in town to engage with Directors and Principals of private Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions in the region as preparations unfold for the Africa Research Institute’s graduation ceremony on October 18th, where she will serve as a keynote speaker.
Expressing her gratitude for the reception, Dr. Ndungu stated, “It’s always an honor to serve the TVET community. Our journey in shaping the narrative of private education in Kenya is one I can recount in my sleep.”
Dr. Ndungu highlighted the significant strides private TVETs have made in gaining recognition and influence within the education sector. “While we have made inroads, the journey is still ongoing, and I remain humbled by the opportunity to contribute to this vital community,” she added.
