Elders Endorse and Bless Nicholas Kipchumba Koech as Tembelio Ward MCA
Elders have endorsed Nicholas Kipchumba Koech to vie for MCA Tembelio ward, Moiben Constituency.
The elders led by Mzee Arap Maiyo and Mzee Kiplom said he is best suited to be the next MCA.
“As elders we have blessed and endorsed Koech to be the next MCA Tembelio ward, this is because he has shown us that he will take the ward to the next level if elected. We wish him all the best in his endeavors,” they said on Saturday after endorsing him.
He was also crowned with a Kalenjin head gear and a rungu signifying he is ready to lead Tembelio ward residents.
Koech thanked the elders for believing in his leadership and promised not to let them down in his leadership of elected.
“I want to humbly thank the elders for endorsing my candidature and giving me their blessings. I want to bring development in areas which have been neglected such as improve infrastructure, environment conservation ensure that there is the availability of water, I will help youths by nurturing their talents in sports and art industry,” said Koech.
He will be vying using UDA party ticket.
He said he will ensure those women, youths, widows, orphans, the elderly, children; the disabled among others are empowered.
“My leadership will be all Inclusive and transformative, will ensure that there will be social-economic empowerment which will be my core mandate,” he added.
He said his leadership will end confused leadership and will ensure there is transparency, accountability, love, unity and progress in education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, environment and sports sectors.
