Uasin Gishu Gospel Ministers Chaorman Bishop Wilson Kurui has warned Kenyans against ignoring the directives by the Ministry of Health to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
Kurui said despite the increasing number of those infected by coronavirus Kenyans are living normally.
“I want to call upon Kenyans Kenyans stop ignoring the directives by the Ministry of Health because coronavirus Pandemic is there and if we will not take care more Kenyans will perish,” said the Uasin Gishu Goapel Ministera Chairman.
“Let us take care of ourselves by following the directives by the Ministry of health by ensuring we put on facemask,observe one meter social distancing rule, observe dusk to dawn curfew, avoiding overcrowded places at all costs and kf possible stay at home to prevent further spread of the virus,” Bishop Kurui added.
He further applauded president Uhuru Kenyatta for directing the closure of all bars.
“I want to thank president Uhuru Kwnyatta for closing bars to prevent further spread of COVID-19 because when a person is drunk he or she does not have control of his life thus easily infected by the virus,” he said.
Bishop Kurui blamed parents for the increasing numbers of pregnancies among teenagers saying they have failed in taking care of their children.
“Parents are the ones to blame for the increasing number of pregnancies since they had left their mandate to teachers and now the schools are closed many cases have been reported this shows thye parents have failed,” he said.
He called on parents to take care of their children, give them chores and always ensure thye know their whereabouts not forgetting their friends.
