Eldoret Railway City: A New Era for Uasin Gishu County

0

Today marks a significant milestone for Uasin Gishu County as we embark on the transformative Eldoret Railway City project. Accompanied by Hon. Alice Wahome, the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, I had the honor of visiting the site where this ambitious initiative will unfold.

The Eldoret Railway City is set to feature 2,200 residential units, retail shops, an Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) center, and a primary school, among other vital amenities. This project is not just about infrastructure; it represents a holistic approach to urban development that prioritizes the well-being and growth of our community.

One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the employment opportunities it will create. From construction to education and retail, we anticipate thousands of jobs that will invigorate our local economy and support families across the county.

Additionally, the Eldoret Railway City will serve as a benchmark for future urban planning initiatives, emphasizing sustainability and community engagement. As we develop this city, we will ensure that it meets the diverse needs of our residents while fostering an inclusive environment.

I encourage all stakeholders to come together in support of this project. Our collective efforts will pave the way for a prosperous future for Uasin Gishu County, establishing it as a model of innovation and growth in Kenya.

As we move forward, I remain committed to ensuring that this project not only meets but exceeds our expectations. Together, we are building a legacy that will benefit generations to come.
