Elgeyo Marakwet Cabinet Passes 10 Bills and Policies
Governor Wisley Rotich today chaired a Cabinet meeting that also included all Chief Officers to discuss draft bills and policies that will streamline county operations across Departments.
Policies and Bills passed by Cabinet today;
Department of Education:Elgeyo Marakwet County Pre-Primary Capitation Policy, Elgeyo Marakwet County ECDE Capitation Policy, Elgeyo Marakwet County pepea Overseas Education and Training Programme and Elgeyo Marakwet County Fund Regulation
Department of Water:Elgeyo Marakwet County Rural Water and Sanitation Bill
Department of Trade: Elgeyo Marakwet County Trade and Development Fund Regulation Policy .Elgeyo Marakwet County Cottage and Small Industry policy
Department of Health: Elgeyo Marakwet County Emergency Care Medical Policy
Department of Agriculture: Elgeyo Marakwet County Agricultural Training Centre Policy
Department of Roads: Elgeyo Marakwet County Integrated Transport Policy.
The draft bills will now be transmitted to the County Assembly for deliberation and passage.
