Espodec Club Shines Against Baraton
Eldoret Sports Development Club(Espodec) has smashed Baraton with 5-0 during the Women’s Branch League at Golden Gateaway Stadium on Sunday.
Vienna Mayende scored hatrick and Philis Wabwile top up two goals.
Espodec head coach,Maurice Kamau has said his players has not been played with full potential as usual.
“So far today’s game we expected more but our players did not played best as we know.We had less lapses we are going to rectify on the training,”said Kamau.
According to coach Kamau,their expectations are to win the league of which it is tough,this year it has been big though.
On the Men’s side,Black City Stars won victory of one goal against Pioneer on the crucial match experienced.Dylan Kariuki scored raised the eyebrows of victory on the side of Black Stars.
“We have got a good game,we have created many chances first half but they failed,we frustrated second half even though dead balls but we made it,we thank God for that win,”said Kizito,head coach of Black Stars.
He noted that after Branch League they will move to the regional league where they will require sponsors.Black Stars are heading to Nandi Hills next Saturday.
Hide Rotino,Pioneer Coach has said his boys did not used the available chances.
“Game was good,it is only that my boys lost chances and opponents has got few chances and they have used one.And next game I think when we rectify on the side of striking we will start performing ,”said Rotino.
Solasa Starlets has edged Monaco one goal in the conflicted match.Despite the fact that Solasa Starlets were less,only eight players,they played hard against Monaco who were 10 players later on added one.
Libese Chelsea swayed the net for the Solasa Starlets victory.
Solasa team captain Sheryl Awour has said that they were less because other players did not showed up as they expected.
“We have been eight players only because some have not been around,we have tried our best and we say thank for those players that have come,”said Awour.
Solasa continued to grind their opponents,they scored 2-0 against Baraton University.Libese Chelsea netted the first goal and finally Sara closes the chapter of two goals.
“Today’s game has been good and fair though we have lost but at least when they come home ground we will make it,”said Naomi Alkamol,the Baraton captain.
They have thanked the county government for starting the Branch League.They have called upon any well-wishers to sponsor the teams.
