Execute Administrative Duties Diligently at the Grassroots -CEM Kosgey

County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management, Administration, and Devolved Units, Elijah Kosgey, convened a meeting on Friday to strengthen governance.

The meeting brought together Sub-County and Ward Administrators for a dialogue aimed at strengthening devolution at the grassroots.

Mr Kosgey emphasized the importance of executing their administrative duties diligently, underlining the need for commitment in their roles.

“The value of synergy and teamwork is key, recognizing that it’s only through collaboration that the County goals can be achieved effectively,” said the executive.

The CECM encouraged the administrators to be a bridge between the government and the public to improve services at the grassroots.

“I urge you to take center stage in ensuring that government initiatives and policies reach every corner of the County,” emphasizing their responsibility to disseminate vital information at the grassroots.

Kosgey emphasized the need for seamless coordination of all functions with other county departments, recognizing that effective collaboration is the cornerstone of efficient governance.

Chief Officer for Administration and Devolved Units, Mark Some, said there is need of the Sub- County and Ward Administrators to be a proactive and responsive.

“With a focus on teamwork, effective communication and dedicated service, it is good to be responsive,” he said.

Governor Jonathan Bii’s administration is committed to delivering essential services to its citizens, ensuring that their needs are met at the grassroots level.

Among present were ,Director Protocol Musa Mutai, Political advisor Wilson Too and Security Advisor Samwel Seurey.
