Family Seeks Justice Following Tragic Death of MKU Student Vivian Mideva
The family of Vivian Mideva, a Mount Kenya University student, is calling on the Kenyan government for assistance in investigating her death. Vivian’s body was discovered on Monday afternoon in a maize plantation in Kiamunyi, near Rongai, prompting her family to seek answers and justice.
Vivian’s mother expressed her anguish, stating, “I have undergone so much pressure due to the unfortunate death of my daughter. All I am requesting is prayers from my fellow Kenyans and justice from the government.”
Her father shared his concerns, highlighting Vivian’s dedication to her studies. “From the day she joined school, she has been a hardworking student, but I am very much surprised by her death,” he said, struggling to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
After receiving news of their daughter’s death, the family reported the incident to the Salgaa Police Station in Nakuru and is actively seeking clarity on the cause of her death. Vivian was reportedly scheduled to attend classes at Mount Kenya University at the time of her passing.
The family’s plea for justice reflects a growing concern within the community as they await further investigation into this heartbreaking incident.
