Fire Engines for EMC dock in Mombasa
The much awaited fire engines donated to the County by the Workington Rotary Club, United Kingdom finally docked at the port of Mombasa.
This is part of Governor Wisley Rotich’s aggressive resource mobilization efforts in collaboration with Kenyans living abroad.
They include Dr Kimnyango Seroney and Mr Jackson Simatei, among others, who forged the collaboration with the UK Rotary Club led by the Chair Mr. Ken Kirkwood.
The County Government thankes the Workington Rotary Club, UK for the donation and appreciates the patriotism of Dr Seroney, Mr Simatei and like minded Kenyans living abroad.
The three fire engines are now awaiting clearance before their maiden trip to Iten.
