Former Police Boss Johnston Ipara Okasida Elected Tongaren Ward MCA
Former Officer in Charge the Northern Corridor Transit Patrol Unit (NCTPU) Mr. Johnston Ipara Okasida has won the Tongaren MCA Ward seat.
Through their official Facebook page the National Police Service congratulated him for his achievements.
“We congratulate retired Commisioner of Police and the former Officer in Charge the Northern Corridor Transit Patrol Unit (NCTPU) Mr. Johnston Ipara Okasida on his election as the member of county assembly for Tongaren Ward in Bungoma County,” they wrote.
The former top cop had also served in high-ranking positions, including as a county police commander, staff officer quarter master, and staff officer personnel .
“During his illustrious career with the National Police Service, Mr. Ipara served in other different high ranking positions including as a County Police Commander, Staff Officer Quarter Master, and Staff Officer Personnel. We wish him well in his retirement and service to his people,” it added.
