Gatanga MP leads in tree planting
Gatanga MP Edward Muriu on Monday led tree planting efforts in his constituency.
“Today, I led the entire Gatanga Constituency in Celebrating the Tree Planting Day.
I was Accompanied by Mugumoini MCA Hon. Alex Wanyoike, Damaris Kimondo and her NGAO Team, and the Residents of Westwood Estate Led by their Chairman Mr.Migwi.
The Estate is the Former Karangaita Coffee Estate, in Gatanga Constituency. The Tree Planting exercise is being carried in the Whole Constituency.
I Urge all My Constituents to ensure that, they plant at least 2 Trees and if Possible add a Fruit tree so that, we can Reverse the emminent Global warming.
I wish to Thank the West Woods Estate Community for the effort and also setting aside 17Acres of Green Belt Where they shall Continue Planting Trees.”
