GEMA Community in Uasin Gishu Congratulated President-Elect William Ruto on His Election as President
GEMA Uasin Gishu business community has congratulated deputy president William Ruto for being elected as Kenya’s 5th president.
Speaking to the press they said Ruto is best suited to inherit the incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta who is serving his second term in office.
“As GEMA business community from Uasin Gishu we want to pass our congratulatory message to the president-elect William Samoei Ruto for being elected as Kenya’s 5th president in the just concluded elections,” said Dan Muswahili while speaking to the press.
They said they have faith in his leadership, the reason they voted the UDA party.
“Since we trusted and believed in the bottom-up economic model we voted for him from the MCA all the way to the president. We believe that president-elect William Ruto will transform the economy of this country which is deteriorating due to the high cost of living,” said Rebecca Karithi.
She called on the president-elect to create job opportunities for millions of youth, increase bursary allocation to the less fortunate in society and also empower the business community from the region.
Njoro Trocadero, a youth and businessman in Eldoret town called on Ruto’s administration to engage them directly instead of using brokers.
“As youth, we woke up very early and voted for the UDA party from the MCA to the president since we knew that deputy president William Ruto is the only person who can solve the problems affecting the youth and we are calling upon him to engage us directly for us to benefit from his administration,” he said.
“We are happy and we thank residents for electing the UDA government led by president-elect William Ruto and we are behind his leadership since we overwhelmingly voted for him. We are confident that he will transform the Agriculture sector and the economy at large,” James Kamande, senior elder and businessman said.
Nick Njoroge a youth leader from Yamumbi congratulated president-elect William Ruto for being elected as president saying youth have faith in his bottom up economic model.
“We congratulate president-elect William Ruto for being elected as the Country’s 5th. As youths we are calling upon him to give us job opportunities, tenders from both the National and County Government which will help us earn a living and improve our livelihoods,” he said.
The GEMA Business Community from Uasin Gishu also thanked president elect William Ruto for promising to nominate one of them as a member of parliament ,business man Joseph Wainaina.
