Govenor Natembeya Constitutes 7 member Task Force
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has constituted a task force to carry out forensic audit on pending bills and human resource audit.
The task force which was gazetted on 21st October 2022 constitutes 7 members.
Speaking today in the county boardroom, Natembeya said that the task force will advise, verify and guide on the settlement of genuine pending bills before payment is done and undertake audit of human resource and staff establishment of Trans Nzoia county government.
He dismissed the allegation that his government is unwilling to pay the bills.”
There is a notion that my government is not willing to pay the bills, which is not true, all bills will be paid once the committee is through with verification.
He further stated that the committee will be independent and is expected to submit a comprehensive report within a period of 30 days.
