Autopsy report by Chief government Pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor has revealed that the late Police office Caroline Kangogo died due to gunshot wounds.
Oduor says Kangogo died due to a single gunshot wound to the head.
“After conducting the autopsy on the body of the deceased Caroline Kangogo died due to a gunshot from the chin,” he said.
“The bullet entered the head through the right chin which exited on the left side of the head and it was a trajectory going through the spine through the head,” said the government chief pathologist.
Oduor says looking at the gunshots entry shows that the gun was on the skin since there was a whole caused by the bullet.
The chief government pathologist says he has not established whether the deceased killer herself or not.
“We will be able to establish whether that deceaed killed herself or not once we have done other investigations which we are doing, we have taken swaps of the hands. In summary what killed her was a single gunshot wound to the head,” he added.
Kangogo’s body was moved to the Moi Teaching Referral Hospital funeral home for an autopsy on Tuesday.
