Governor Barasa Urges Kakamega Leaders to Avoid Retrogressive Politics
Governor Fernandes Barasa has called on political leaders in Kakamega County to set aside divisive and retrogressive politics in favor of a unified approach to development. Speaking during a Mass at St. Charles’ Lwanga Church in Matungu Sub-County, Barasa emphasized the importance of collaboration among county leaders to advance the region’s development goals.
Barasa highlighted his administration’s commitment to progressing Kakamega through his Six Strategic Pillars. He warned that political infighting and distractions could hinder these crucial development initiatives. The Governor urged all leaders to focus on their responsibilities and work together towards common objectives, stressing that the well-being of the county’s residents should be the primary concern.
