Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii flagged off a group of talented students who will represent the County at the Primary Schools Inter-County Athletic Games in Narok.
He noted that as a sporting County of champions his administration has big plans to support young athletes and ensure they have the resources they need to succeed.
“At a time when we are working hard to build a sporting culture in our County, it is inspiring to see young athletes seizing the opportunity to showcase their skills on a bigger stage,” governor Bii says.
“I wish our team the best of luck and look forward to a triumphant engagement in Narok,” he added.
