Governor Bii Hosts Judicial Service Commission Delegation
Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii hosted the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), led by the head of the delegation, Hon. Everlyne Olwande.
They discussed areas of collaboration including the planned establishment of an Alternative Justice System (AJS) in all our sub-counties and will begin rolling it out in Moiben and Turbo providing a platform for ideal means of settling disputes.
“We are pleased that the JSC has agreed to allocate more judges and magistrates to our county to expedite and reduce the backlog of cases,” he said.
Present at the meeting were, Commissioners, Hon. Jacqueline Ingutia, Justice Hon. Justice of the Supreme Court Mohammed Ibrahim, Hon. Isaac Rutto, JSC Chief Registrar Hon. Anne Amadi among other officers.
