Governor Bii Launches Koti Oral Health Care Program
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii officially launched the Koti Oral Health Care Program in collaboration with Colgate Palmolive East Africa.
He says this signifies a significant step forward in fostering good oral hygiene practices among over 40,000 young learners across our ECDEs.
“We will provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, and regular education to our ECDE learners, emphasizing the importance of oral hygiene, proper nutrition, and preventive measures against tooth decay,” said the Uasin Gishu County boss during the launch.
He says his investment in ECDE centers, through the provision of teaching aids to all 673 centers, the implementation of a milk uptake program, and the confirmation of over 1,374 ECDE teachers into permanent and pensionable terms, reflects his commitment to ensuring access to a quality foundation for every child, regardless of their socio-economic background.
