Governor Bii Officiates Eldoret Matter Heart Run
Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii Officiated the Eldoret matter heart run.
He was accompanied by Bishop Dominic Kimengich of the Eldoret Diocese, the Sisters of Mercy, and renowned athletes.
“I am grateful to the Mater Heart Run organizers for their unwavering commitment to supporting children with heart problems. As the County of Champions, we stand prepared to support such initiatives, providing the necessary resources and assistance for their success and sustainability,” he said.
The run helps in raising funds to help children get heart surgeries and cardiac intervention procedures.
It attracted 22 schools in the County.
It was run simultaneously in 10 counties that is in Nairobi, Mombasa, Machakos, Kakamega, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Bomet, Kericho, and Nyeri.
