Governor Bii Urges Department Heads to Come up With Investment Opportunities
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has called on section heads of various departments to come up with investment opportunities and business ideas that can be tapped by his administration to help among other ways create job opportunities for the youths as well as realize the growth of various economies.
Speaking today during Trade and Cooperatives department section heads meeting attended by CECM Ms. Martha Cheruto, Acting Chief Officers Kipleting Mengich (Trade), and Isaac Lagat (Cooperatives) governor Bii noted that his Nguzo Kumi agenda will be implemented through the help of various section heads and the administration at large across the 10 departments.
“You are the specialists in various sectors captured in my agenda to the people of Uasin Gishu and we must work towards achieving them as soon as possible,” said Bii
Bii also challenged trade and cooperative sectors to use current technology and innovation to not only teach cooperators new ways of Investment but also translate the business ideas of traders into wealth.
