Governor Jonathan Bii's 2022 Plans For the People of Uasin Gishu

Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii now says his focus will be to implement more development projects in line with Nguzo Kumi and as per the aspirations of residents.

Speaking during the year celebrations Bii said he will ensure that he fulfills the promises he made during the electioneering period.

“It is my desire that this year will see our fast growing town conferred to a city status so that we can benefit from its immense opportunities,” said Bii.

He says youths will also be actively involved in the housing project and tree planting initiative in order to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change as well as nurturing their talents.

“I will ensure more resources are channelled towards affordable loans such as Inua Biashara and County Enterprise Development Fund among others,” he added.

“In the education sector, I shall work towards seeking opportunities for our students overseas this is after successfully signing a number of MOUs with international institutions in 2022,”he said.
