Governor Jonathan Biis 2024 New Year Message

To the great people of Uasin Gishu, we express gratitude to the Almighty for ushering us into this promising New Year.

As your Governor, I am excited about the prospects that 2024 holds for us, aligning with the principles outlined in my Nguzo kumi blueprint.

This year will witness the initiation and continuation of several impactful projects. Notably, the construction of a state-of-the-art 64-market complex, the establishment of a County Aggregation and Industrial Park, and the development of an Export Processing Zone. Additionally, we eagerly anticipate the elevation of Eldoret Municipality to city status.

My administration remains steadfast in realizing the ten pillars, placing heightened emphasis on efficient service delivery.

This includes prioritizing access to water, enhancing our road network, fostering smart agricultural practices, improving healthcare systems, creating more opportunities for our youth and nurturing talents, and bolstering education within our ECDEs and Vocational Centers.

Great people, let us unite and stride forward as proud residents of our County of Champions.
