Governor Lusaka Wants Doctors to End their Strike

Governor Kenneth Lusaka has appealed to the County Doctors and Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Union to prioritize emergencies amid strike.

In his address while attending a Sunday service in Webuye town, Governor Lusaka expressed concerns over the ongoing doctors strike, imploring on them to demonstrate patriotism to prevent the loss of more lives.

“Doctors are bound by an oath to protect lives. I urge you to uphold patriotism amid challenges”, He pleaded
Lusaka observed, “Doctors play an essential role in the lives of many. Downing tools is detrimental to loss of more lives”, further, affirming his optimism in the continuous negotiations between the doctors and the Ministry of Health.

The governor channeled a generous donation of KSh.250,000 to aid in the completion of the ongoing construction of Word of Faith – Bethesda Church in Webuye.
