Governor Lusaka’s Government to Construct more ECDE Classrooms
Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka has reiterated his commitment towards construction and equiping more ECDE classrooms.
Speaking at Chepkoya primary school in Kaptama Ward, Mt Elgon while handing-over a personal donation of furniture to six ECDE centres, lusaka said developing of early childhood centres was a key devolved function and should never be ignored.
“During my campaigns I promised to change the face of our early learning centres, and this I assure you I will do”,He Said.
He added that his administration is working round the clock to ensure ECDE teachers get anew schemes of service as a way improving working conditions.
“We are keen on quality academic standards for our children. We want to make everything right from the foundation,” He said.
The County Boss further reassured residents of development, saying he was keen on ensuring he leaves a legacy in his last term.
“I want to be remembered for development.We are creating footprints in all departments, to leave a legacy”,He reiterated.
Governor was flanked by Deputy Governor Janepher Mbatiany, MCAs; Hon.Francis Chemion (Kaptama),Hon.Joan Kirong (Kapkateny), CECMS; David Wamamili (Education),Bonaventure Chengeck (Roads),Herbert Kibunguchi (Environment),Senior County officials among others.
