Governor Natembeya Commences Road Projects to Enhance Connectivity and Economic Growth
In a bid to transform Trans Nzoia County into a vibrant hub of connectivity and economic prosperity, Governor George Natembeya has today evening launched a series of road projects aimed at improving transportation infrastructure and fostering local development.
The governor’s visionary approach to enhancing connectivity was evident as he commissioned two vital road projects.
The first project to receive Governor Natembeya’s official seal of approval was the Kitale town – Trans Nzoia Teaching and Referral Hospital (TTRH) road.
This new road will play a crucial role in facilitating easy access to the upcoming TTRH facility, ensuring that residents can receive the necessary medical care without any hindrances.
The governor expressed his enthusiasm for this milestone, emphasizing the importance of accessible healthcare for the county’s residents.
Continuing his commitment to improving transportation networks, Governor Natembeya then turned his attention to the Mbao area in the Kiminini sub-county, where he inaugurated another road project.
The governor reiterated his determination to enhance the standards of roads in the county, recognizing their pivotal role in promoting trade and boosting economic growth. The newly commissioned road will enable efficient transportation of goods to local markets, benefitting farmers and entrepreneurs alike.
Building upon these achievements, Governor Natembeya unveiled plans for a comprehensive rural road upgrade initiative, set to be rolled out across the entire county soon.
This ambitious undertaking aims to connect remote areas and empower rural communities by providing them with better access to essential services and economic opportunities.
