Governor George Natembeya today inaugurated the Doctor’s Lounge at Mt Elgon Hospital to enhance the effectiveness of healthcare professionals in responding promptly to patients and emergency cases. The launch of this facility is a reflection of the government’s commitment to delivering accessible, affordable, and high-quality healthcare services to the people.
In his statement, Governor Natembeya emphasized the importance of having a well-equipped and comfortable workspace for doctors, as it directly impacts their ability to provide efficient healthcare services. He stated, “The Doctor’s Lounge is an essential addition to our healthcare facility as it provides a conducive environment for our medical personnel to unwind and recharge. This, in turn, allows them to perform their duties with greater efficiency and accuracy.”
