Governor Natembeya Mourns the Passing of Dr. Eliud Mwichabe Wakasiaka

Today, His Excellency Governor George Natembeya joined family, friends, and colleagues to honor the late Dr. Eliud Mwichabe Wakasiaka at Kiungani Primary School, where he was laid to rest.

In a heartfelt tribute, Governor Natembeya described Dr. Wakasiaka as a patriot and a prolific academician whose extensive contributions to Kenya’s education sector laid a strong foundation for future generations. The governor emphasized Dr. Wakasiaka’s role as a mentor and public servant, highlighting his dedication to advancing education and public welfare in Trans-Nzoia County.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wakasiaka excelled in various sectors, including public service, corporate leadership, business, and agriculture. Notably, he served as the Secretary of the Trans-Nzoia County University Taskforce, actively participating in initiatives aimed at improving local education until his untimely passing.
