Governor Natembeya’s Compassionate Intervention Eases Grieving Family’s Burden
Trans-Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has stepped forward to provide much-needed relief to a bereaved family in Matisi village.
The family had been mourning the loss of their beloved Margaret Moraa, who tragically passed away on 14th July 2021, while also grappling with escalating medical bills and morgue fees.
Governor Natemeya, underscoring his commitment to the wananchi, has waived off all the medical bills and morgue fees at the Kitale Referral Hospital, amounting to Ksh. 251,700.
This decision has not only eased the financial burden on the grieving family but has also allowed them to finally lay their daughter to rest.
Hezron Kebati, the father of the late Margaret Moraa, expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the Governor’s compassionate gesture.
“We can now give our daughter the farewell she deserves,” said a visibly moved Kebati.
