Governor Otichilo Flaggs Off 258 Students Under the 6th Cohort Governor’s Scholarship Program
As Form One students start reporting to various Secondary schools across the country tomorrow, Vihiga Governor Dr. Wilber Ottichilo has today flagged off 158 bright but needy students who secured slots under the Governor’s Scholarship Program.
Speaking during the function at the County headquarters, Dr. Ottichilo said the scholarship comes along with shopping, pocket money, transport to school and fully paid school fees.
The County Boss took the opportunity to congratulate the students for performing well in their Primary School exams, urging them to maintain the same spirit and even improve more as they proceed to the next level.
So far, more than 700 students have benefitted from the program since it’s inception in 2019.
