Governor Rotich Officially Opens Silker Business Centre
Elgeyo Marakwet governor Wisley Rotich officially open Silker Business Centre.
He noted that the beautiful building is a true testament that Iten town is growing big.With this investment, he has created 55 direct jobs to our young people.
“As the county government, we have put in place measures to ensure smooth operation of business in the town and a conducive environment to set up business. We welcome all investors to take advantage of the rising customer base in our town,” said governor Rotich.
He said Iten town has always stood out as a top athletic town which has attracted world beaters who often train ahead of major races.
The County boss requested all plot owners to develop their parcels so as to attract investors and increase business space.
Later, together with Kapchemutwa Ward MCA Stephen Cheruiyot, governor Rotich distributed more than 2,000 Hass avocado seedlings to farmers at Kapkatui supplied by the county government.
“Beside being a perfect training ground, the town has strategically positioned itself as an economic hub attracting both local and international investors,” governor Rotich said.
