Nandi governor Stephen Sang has donated coffee seedlings to farmers in the county.
He said this will help to revive the coffee industry.
” My government is supporting Farmers Cooperative Societies to help revive a high quality coffee industry and support coffee farming as a sustainable source of income while at the same time preventing soil erosion and drainage,” said the Jubilee party first term Nandi governor.
He spoke after issuing certified coffee seedlings and support relief to families prone and those affected by floods and landslides at Mbogo Valley in Tinderet ward.
“I also urge farmers to join Cooperative Societies and gain access to more government assistance and become more competitive,” Sang added.
